Bobby Hale

Bobby Hale, 61, of Santa Anna, died Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Coleman County Medical Center.  The family will host a visitation on Friday, May 12, 2023, starting at 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street in Coleman, with the funeral service starting at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel.  Inurnment will be at the Santa Anna Cemetery at a later date.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home.

He was born Robert Lynn Hale in Phoenix, Arizona to Mary Lorene Hutchinson Whitmire and Lewis Whitmire.  At an early age, Bobby moved to Clyde, where he attended school.  He worked as a contract laborer.  Bobby enjoyed helping people, joking around with them and making them laugh, loved playing corn hole and horseshoes and riding motorcycles.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joe Hale and a grandson, James York, Jr.

Survivors include three children, Robby Hale and wife, Christina, of Clyde, Tracy Hale and Bob Loggins of Snyder, Bobby Hale and wife, Kristen, of Hawaii; one brother, Gary Hale of Coleman; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are an uncle, Kermit Whitmire of Clyde; sister-in-law, Vickie Hale of Coleman and son-in-law, Shannon Burfield.
