CHRISTOVAL – The District 6-2A champion and 19th-ranked Bangs Lady Dragons collected their 15th consecutive victory overall with a 16-1 road triumph over Christoval Tuesday afternoon.

Bangs (22-4, 13-0) – which has now outscored its league foes 181-5 – led Christoval 2-1 after one inning Tuesday, added six more runs in the second and the final three runs in the third inning.

The Lady Dragons recorded 11 hits, drew eight walks and took advantage of three Christoval errors.

Neeley Bradley tallied a team-best three hit, including a pair of doubles, followed by Abby Wolf with a triple, a single and three RBIs. Bailey Mendieta contributed two singles and an RBI, while Jadyn Miller, Jordan Valdez, and Sierra Lorah – who doubled – logged one hit and two RBIs apiece. Emily Baker also chipped in a single.

In the circle, Wolf yielded one earned run on five hits with three strikeouts over three innings.

The playoff-bound Lady Dragons wrap up the regular season at Miles at 5 p.m. Friday.
