BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons remained undefeated and not scored upon in District 6-2A softball action, routing Christoval by a 15-0 count Friday.
Bangs (15-4, 6-0) used a 12-run second inning to put the game out of reaching after scoring a run in the bottom of the first inning. The Lady Dragons also tacked on two runs in the third.
Bangs finished with nine hits, led by three from Neeley Bradley, who homered and drove in four runs. Abby Wolf tacked on a pair of hits and knocked in thre, and Jadyn Miller, Cheyenne Rush, and Jaylee Valdez each recorded one hit and one RBI. Bailey Mendieta contributed a hit as well, while Sierra Lorah was credited with an RBI.
In the circle, Wolf tossed a three-inning no-hitter and struck out two batters.
The Lady Dragons – who have outscored their district foes 85-0 – host Miles Tuesday to wrap up the first half of league play.
