Several Brownwood High School (BHS) HOSA (Future Health Professionals) students recently participated in the Area Conference March 3-4 at Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, TX.
Brownwood’s HOSA earned the following awards and honors:
1st Place – Kali Alvizo – Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking (State Qualifier)
1st Place – Lilliana Lujan – Veterinary Science (State Qualifier)
2nd Place – Taylor Pinckney – Healthy Lifestyle (State Qualifier)
3rd Place – Kyle Recolizado – Pharmacy Science (State Qualifier)
4th Place – Allie Touhakis, Carli Schoen, Jesslyn Sliger, Natalie Edmonds, and Addison Strickland – Mental Health Promotion
5th Place – Emory May – Veterinary Science
5th Place – Allison Godhino – Medical Spelling
5th Place – Trinity Sessoms, Magaly Cervantes, Savannah Rodriguez, and Noeli De La Torre – Health Education
5th Place – Emma Ringer – Health Career Photography
