BANGS – The Bangs Dragons improved to 4-1-1 on the season with a 10-4 home victory over the Cisco Loboes Tuesday night.
Bangs scored at least one run in each inning, including three in both the second and sixth frames.
The Dragons finished with 10 hits, drew eight walks and took advantage of seven Cisco errors.
Guy Powell led the way with three hits followed by Skylar Minshew and Kenny Cole with two each, and Brayden Fields, Hunter Newton, and Hunter Crowell with one apiece. Powell also collected a pair of RBIs and Crowell chipped in one.
On the mound, Zack Ferguson tossed 3.2 innings and allowed three runs on four hits with six strikeouts to notch the win. Weston Jundt worked 3.1 innings and surrendered one run on three hits and fanned three batters.
The Dragons are back in action at the Sweetwater tournament Thursday through Saturday.
