LAMPASAS – For the second consecutive outing, senior Noah Barron recorded five goals to account for all the offense in the Brownwood Lions’ 5-0 District 5-4A soccer victory at Lampasas Tuesday night.
The win was the third in a row for the Lions (9-9-1, 5-2), who evened their overall record and remained in third place in the league race. Meanwhile, Barron has scored 10 goals in the last two contests and 22 for the season.
Brownwood, which defeated Lampasas in the first league meeting, 3-0, on Jan. 27, will next host China Spring at 8 p.m. Friday. The Lions defeated China Spring in the first encounter, 3-0, on Feb. 3.
