The Brownwood Art Association will host The Coretta Scott King Illustrator Awards, with the opening reception set for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at 215 Fisk Avenue. Special guest speakers will be LeCorya Finley and Anthony Reine.

Gallery hours will be 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6- Friday, Feb. 10; 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13-Friday, Feb. 17; and 2 to 6 p.m. Monday Feb. 20-Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Poetry by Kandice Harris will be presented at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, and music and singing by Domonique Glaeske will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.
