Alicia Villarreal, 83, passed away on December 19, 2022, in Brownwood, TX.

Alicia Villarreal was born on January 21, 1939, in Brownwood, TX, to Cresencio Rodriquez and Josephine Rodriquez.

Alicia graduated from high school in 1958. She started her career as a Teacher’s Aide at Northwest Elementary and went on to work for over 10 years until she retired.

Alicia married Pablo Villarreal on September 28, 1968, at St. Mary’s in Brownwood Texas. The couple had 2 children, Leonel Villarreal, and Laura Villarreal both of Brownwood.

Alicia lived her entire life of 84 years in Brownwood. She was a member of the PTA, The Brown Co. Child Welfare Board from 1983 to 1987. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Mary’s Alter Society. She also delivered Meals on Wheels.

Alicia was best known for Her love of life and a smile that never faded. She looked for the good in all things. She loved to laugh.

Alicia is survived by Pablo Villarreal – husband, of Brownwood, Leonel Villarreal – son, of Brownwood, and Laura Villarreal of Brownwood.

Alicia is preceded in death by Cresencio Rodriquez – father, Josephine Rodriquez – mother.

Visitation: Tuesday, at 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home – Davis Morris Chapel.

Rosary: Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Heritage Davis Morris Chapel

The service for Mrs. Alicia Villarreal will be held on Wednesday, at 12:00 PM at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood Texas.

Burial: Green leaf Cemetery, Brownwood Texas.
