- On Friday, October 28, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of Illegal Dumping. The caller stated several items of trash had been deposited of on his property, sometime in the last week. A report was made.
- On Saturday, October 29, at about 8:12 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley and Deputy Chris Williamson arrived at the Diamond R located at S US 183 in Zephyr. This was in regard to a suspicious vehicle. The deputies located a white Cargo box truck, bearing FL LP: 65A KQD, sitting in the parking lot by the gas pumps. The windows on the box truck were fogged up and there were two males inside the vehicle. The males were ordered out of the vehicle and both males were identified by Russian passports.
- On Saturday, October 29, Deputy Byron Langley and Deputy Chris Williamson were dispatched to Avenue B in Blanket. This was for an animal complaint. A victim reported on Saturday that a suspect’s dogs came into her yard and attacked her dog.
- On Saturday, October 29, Deputy Chris Williamson and Deputy Byron Langley responded to a theft call located at Pitts Lane in Blanket. The renter of the storage space reported the lock on the storage building, and some of the contents of the storage building, were taken. The renter stated there were men’s leather work gloves, wooden crosses, men’s leather wallets, and a box containing jewelry.
- On Saturday, October 29, Deputy Smith responded to a rolling domestic in progress on CR 136. The victim told dispatch she was in route to Brown County LEC, 1050 W Commerce. Deputy Smith met with the victim at the LEC were she informed Deputy Smith she was assaulted by her husband at their home located at CR 136. After further investigation by deputies, the husband was arrested and booked into the Brown County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence and Unlawful Restraint. A report was taken by Deputy Smith.
- On Saturday, October 29, Sgt. Chris Angel was dispatched to Belfast Drive. This was in reference to a Structure Fire. Sgt. Angel met with the homeowner. After further investigation, there were signs of Arson. A report was taken, and an investigation is underway.
- On Sunday, October 30, Deputy Byron Langley and Deputy Chris Williamson were dispatched to a call in regards to a domestic abuse of a child. The victime and her five-month-old son were verbally and physically attacked by a suspect. Lemmons had Brown County Sheriff’s Office issue a Criminal Trespass Warning to the suspect.
