Brown County baseball teams are busy fundraising as they prepare to head to the state tournaments which will begin on Monday, July 22nd.
The 14U Mustangs were standing in the drizzling rain Wednesday morning as they collected money at the Main/Austin Avenue intersection near Station 1 of the Brownwood Fire Department. Members of the team held signs asking for donations to help send their team to the state tournament. They filled jars and baseball caps with donations from vehicles that stopped at the intersection. Pictured above is one of the Mustangs players with his sign.
