ALBANY – The second half of District 6-2A volleyball action began the same way as the first for the Bangs Lady Dragons, who fell in straight sets at Albany Tuesday night, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.
Bangs received nine kills from Neeley Bradley, five from Jadyn Miller, four from Kasey Solis, two from Claire Auldridge and one from Raylee Hutchins.
Laynie Evans distributed 11 assists while Bradley chipped in six.
Evans and Julianna Ethridge served two aces apiece while Hutchins and Ava Boren each contributed one.
Defensively, Bradley registered 12 digs followed by Ethridge with 10, Miller with nine, Hutchins and Boren with five each, Evans with four and Solis with one.
Solis was credited with three blocks, Bradley tacked on two and Auldridge recorded one.
Bangs (10-17, 2-3) is slated to host Coleman at noon Saturday.
