Lady Lions cross country comes in ninth at Lubbock Invitational

LUBBOCK – The Brownwood Lady Lions finished ninth as a team in the Class 4A Division at Saturday’s Lubbock Invitational, site of the Region I-4A meet.

The Lady Lions finished with 248 points which trailed meet champion Canyon Randall (39 points), Canyon (56), Dumas (59), Perryton (184), Andrews (186), Hereford (201), Levelland (233), and Borger (237).

Competing for the Lady Lions were Sidney Windham, who placed 28^th in a time of 13:49, followed by Kate Tindol (40^th, 14:08.8), Talia Craff (56^th, 14:55.2), Mia Lars (60^th, 15:01.8), Alma Bernal (74^th, 15:27.8) and Kylea Karnes (81^st, 15:52.6).

The Lady Lions and Lions are slated to be back in action Wednesday at the Dublin FCA meet.
