Howard Payne University invites the public to the latest installment of the Community Leadership Lunch and Learn series, featuring a meal catered by Sodexo and a presentation by HPU personnel. The event will be held Thursday, September 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bullion Suites of HPU’s Mabee University Center.

Dr. Jill Heupel, associate vice president for academic affairs, and Dr. Jim Wunderle, assistant professor of psychology, will lead the presentation, titled “Wellness in the Workplace.”

Dr. Cory Hines, HPU president, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event.

“I look forward to hearing from Dr. Heupel and Dr. Wunderle as they share their expertise with business leaders of our community,” said Dr. Hines. “This is a wonderful opportunity to learn helpful information while enjoying time together.”

Proceeds from the event will support student scholarships at HPU. The event’s title sponsor is Hendrick Medical Center – Brownwood. Current table sponsors are 3M – Brownwood, Ann Jones Real Estate, Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, Citizens National Bank, Kohler Co., MCBank, Painter & Johnson Financial, Robnett Integra Insurance Agency, Smith & Sharpe Insurance Agency, TexasBank, Texas Clean, Texas Goldstar Real Estate and Wendlee Broadcasting.

Table sponsorships are available for $300 per table and include tickets and VIP parking for eight guests, as well as recognition at the event, in the printed program and through related publicity. A limited number of table sponsorships remain available. For information on acquiring a table sponsorship, contact Jacob Rohrer, assistant to the president for special projects, at [email protected].
