Wanda Lois (Teague) Mobley, 82, of Brownwood, Texas completed God’s mission on earth, September 12, 2022 and is reunited with her loving husband, Bill Mobley and our Lord, Jesus Christ. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September, 17, 2022 in the Rocky Creek Cemetery, Brownwood, Texas.
Wanda was born May 14, 1940 in Hobbs, New Mexico to R.L. and Hazel Marie (Busby) Teague. She attended the Hobbs schools and graduated from Hobbs High School. Wanda married the love of her life, William (Bill) Mobley, August 30, 1957. From this union came four children, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several “foster” children. As her children became school age, she became a girl & boy scout leader and enjoyed camping with her scouts on our family vacations. Later on, they took their grandkids camping to the “big water” every summer. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, all kinds of crafts & genealogy. Wanda retired from Bangs ISD in 2014 as a resource aide for 21 years. She was a Christian and a member of Grosvenor Baptist Church and Solid Rock Bible Church in Springtown, Texas.
Wanda is survived by three brothers, Leon Teague and wife, Karen, Richard Teague and wife, Gerri, Bobby Teague and wife, Anita; children, Denita and husband Curtis Sherwood, Darrell Mobley and wife, Candi, Danny Mobley and wife, Clarissa, Darla and husband Don Chandler; fosters, Mason Fabbiani, Carol Beth Lawdermilk, Jeremy Harris and many others; grandchildren, Amanda and husband Randy Russ, April and husband, Jason Ward, Wesley Mobley and wife, Jamie, James Mobley and wife, Chelsey, Colton Mobley, Art, Troy and Alessandro Marroquin, Lacey and husband Wes Finley, Lynzee and husband Koy Bennett, Madison and husband, Michael Mendoza, Billy Joe Jernigan and wife, Pebbles; Craig Stephenson and wife Caytie; great grandchildren, Vivian Russ, Trevor Ward, Kayden Marroquin, Braxton & Hadleigh Finley, Zaidan Bennett, Donnick Mobley, Trendon & Trenadee Mobley, Lexi & Chloe, Cohen, Wyatt and Sophia Stephenson; and many cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends including Barbara Bradshaw, Carol & Shirley, Russ Miller & Milla McCown.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Aubrey Glenn Teague.
