The Early Police Department posted the following information on Facebook Tuesday morning:
On September 3rd at 2 a.m., officers could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver Alejandro Tamayo-Garcia and passenger Guillermo Valades-Lopez stated there was some paraphernalia in the vehicle at which time officers searched the vehicle and located marijuana paraphernalia along with a baggie containing cocaine. Both occupants were placed under arrest and taken to the Brown County Jail and charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers made contact with an intoxicated female on Early Blvd. When officers tried to talk to her, she attempted to flee. As officers went to detain her, she began to resist and fight with officers. Officers placed the female, Kristi Love, in handcuffs and transported her to the Brown County jail where she was charged with resisting arrest and public intoxication.
Officers responded to a disturbance call at a hotel in the 100 block of Early Blvd. Witnesses observed a male striking a female in the back parking lot. When officers arrived, they observed torn clothing and minor wounds on the female while they interviewed her. The male, Bryan Herbert Johnson, was detained during the investigation and then arrested for assault family violence. Johnson was taken to the Brown County Jail.
On September 5th, officers located a vehicle driving erratically. Officers stopped the vehicle and immediately smelled the odor of marijuana in the vehicle. The driver admitted to having marijuana in the center console and admitted to smoking marijuana. Howard was placed under arrest for Driving while intoxicated due to being under the influence of marijuana. Howard was also charged with possession of marijuana.
