Ryan Stuart Lee Harris, 40, of Corsicana, Texas went to his forever home in heaven, free of pain and suffering, to wait for his family to join him on August 29, 2022. We will celebrate his beautiful life Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Corsicana Opry in Corsicana, Texas at 2:00 p.m. Services provided by Heartland Funeral Home.
Ryan Stuart Lee Harris was born December 27, 1981 in Stephenville, Texas. Ryan went to school and graduated from Stephenville ISD in 2000. It would not be long before he would begin what would become his lifetime career in the oilfield. After many years of hardships, Ryan finally found and married the love of his life, Cassie. Together they made a new life, one of all the happiness and love anyone could imagine. Every spare moment was spent together and with their seven beautiful children. Ryan loved football. He told stories about his football days often. He was so excited to watch his sons play together. In fact, he said if he could go back and do everything over, he would have been a coach. He had also discovered a love for fishing and had more fishing gear than he even knew what to do with. The most important thing to him was to provide for his family. He was most recently employed with Stellar Drilling. He spoke often of how he was happier there than anywhere else he had ever worked. He said that’s where he would stay until he retired if they would keep him around. His boss said he would keep him forever. Ryan’s time at home was spent helping his wife run kids to and from school and practices, watching their sporting events, eating lunch on Fridays with the “little girls”, helping his oldest prepare for college, holding his new baby girl, taking care of his mom, and countless hours on the phone with his best friend Denver.
He is survived by his wife Cassie Harris; his daughters, Shallan, Adyson, Cordie, Hayes and Leddy; his sons, Trenton and Wyatt; mom, Bonnie Mickler Harris and his best friend Denver Stocking; sisters, Erica Coronado and Sherry Adams; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws that will miss him desperately.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Joe Mickler and granny Ruby Williams.
Ryan was living his best life. He loved his wife and children more than anything in the world. He was the greatest husband and best daddy. He was the provider and protector of his family. He always said Cassie saved his life, she says he saved hers. He called her his beautiful queen, third coast, ride or die, love until the end. His contagious smile, hysterical laughter, completely hilarious and inappropriate behavior and mouth, strong hugs and deep love leave a void impossible to ever fill.
