Lynn was born September 6, 1959 to Billy Ray and Anita Joe Parker in Kermit, Texas. He graduated from Rankin High School and received an Associate degree from Texas State Technical Institute in Radiation Technology. Lynn worked for 3M in Brownwood, he worked performing nuclear power and radiation waste for several companies across the United States and as a Chemical Tech in the oilfields of west Texas. He was father to 3 sons that he thoroughly devoted his life too. He was an athlete in high school and passed his basketball skills and love for the game on to Scott and Chris. His football skill and love for football was passed to his youngest son, Cody and Lynn loved to cheer him on as he played for San Angelo Central. Lynn loved spending quality time with his sons, he rode motorcycles with Scott and loved flying with Scott in his plane. He traveled to Colorado with the boys and they took him River Fishing, it wasn’t long before he was down river, had learned what he needed to know and was filling his own trout bucket. He loved to travel, see new places and experience new things. Lynn enjoyed spending time on the ranch, he would “make the rounds” through the pasture or spend time with his mother, Jo doing chores and helping with maintenance on the ranch. His grandkids were the apple of his eye, he always would get excited to see snap chat videos or have visits from the grandkids. He never knew a stranger and would make friends with anyone. He loved to make people laugh, usually with a smart aleck comment, but he would always say “if I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t give you a hard time!” Lynn had many sides and many talents, but the one he mastered was being a Dad, It seemed as if he didn’t even need to try, he was just the absolute best Dad and Pops.
