Robbie Dale Eaton, 69, of Brownwood Texas, passed away July 1, 2022.
A visitation will be held at Heartland Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
A celebration of life will be held in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Early, Texas.
Robbie was born July 28, 1952 in Texas City, Galveston County to Willie Calvin Eaton and Dorothy Mae Dannar Eaton. He graduated from Early High School and married Donna Pfingsten on April 4, 2013. Robbie joined the US Navy right after high school and went straight to Vietnam and served as a door gunner on rescue helicopters. Robbie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his kids and grandkids. Anything to do with the outdoors, Robbie was in and loved it. Robbie worked as a plumber, electrician and a general contractor. Robbie was well known for calling Bingo at Grand Starz and had many friends and family there. He was known for how he cut a rug, known for being the best dancer in the State of Texas, if you danced in a 100-mile radius on any dance floor, chances are you danced with Robbie. He loved to have fun and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Robbie is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Eaton of Brownwood; daughter, Amber Crawford and husband Darin of Troy, Texas & Joy Morris of Brownwood; sons, Alton Williams of Brownwood, Jason Gill and wife Joanna of Flower Mound, Jeremy Gill and wife Denise of New Braunfels; sisters, Shirley Pierce of Benbrook, Wanda Martin and husband Scott of Brownwood, Cathy Griffin and husband Glen of Brownwood; granddaughters, Baylee Crawford of Troy, Rebekah Gill, Savanah Gill, Leighah Gill; grandsons, Peyton Crawford of Troy, Luke Gill, Abe Morris and wife Morgan; great grandson, Wyatt Lee Morris; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Alston and Willie Calvin Eaton; grandson, Jeren Morris; brother-in-law, Dennis Thacker.
