The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Monday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.
- Christopher Ray Cook, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, was adjudicated and sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Richard Lopez II, on probation for three separate felony offenses of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Terri Baker, on probation for the felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation and Accident Involving Injury, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Kendra Peach, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Marie Kauss aka Buckner pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Joseph Dalton Gilbert pled guilty to the state jail offense of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
