GEORGETOWN – Howard Payne University’s Mallory finished fifth overall at the West Region Invitational held at the Berry Creek Country Club and hosted by Southwestern University.

Mallory Garcia shot a 159 (78-81) over two rounds to finish fifth overall in the tournament. She was second in Par 3 scoring (E) and sixth in Par 4 scoring (+9). It was her second consecutive top ten finish.

Amada Menchaca finished T-30th with a 189 (95-94) and Bailey Farmer was 33rd with a 193 (94-99).

The Lady Jackets will complete next at the American Southwest Conference Championships April 24-26 in Gladewater, Texas at the Tempest Golf Club.
