Joe Henry Floyd passed across to the other side at 9pm Saturday, February 26, 2022 in his birthplace, Brownwood, Texas. A graveside service will be held at Greenleaf Cemetery, 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022 under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
Henry was born in Brownwood, Texas June 28, 1950 to Earl D. And Grace H. Floyd of Blanket, Texas who preceded him to heaven. He graduated from Brownwood High School and received his bachelors’ degree in economics from San Angelo State. Henry was a Viet Nam veteran and worked as an automotive parts supply manager and telephone company rep all over west Texas and loved to work on his ‘49 Ford pickup. He will be missed by many, including his dog Blue. Thanks go out to Cecil Cain for taking care of that dog while Henry was at Care Nursing in Early, Texas.
Henry is survived by his older brother Terry (Caren), his nephew David H. Floyd, grandnephew Nathan Floyd and grandniece Julia Floyd, all of Austin, Texas and his niece Callie Vee Miner (Adam) and grandniece Abby Miner of Simi Valley, CA.
