At approximately 4:00 am Saturday, the Early Fire Department was sent to a structure fire in a rural area on FM 2126, about 3 miles south of Early.  Arriving units reported heavy fire coming from a two-story structure.  Assistance was requested from the Zephyr VFD followed by requests to other Brown County fire departments for mutual aid to provide water at the scene. Units were still arriving at the scene as of 5:00 am.  Additional information will be provided when received.
