The Brownwood Independent School District is in need of substitute teachers. A meeting will be held this Wednesday, January 19, for any interested persons wanting more information about the part-time employment opportunity.
Substitute teachers must have at least a high school diploma, and the District prefers candidates with at least 30 hours of college course work. The District pays substitutes $100 per day, or $140 per day for persons with a teaching certificate. Substitute teachers are needed for all grade levels, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Candidates are subject to a background check.
The informational meeting will be Wednesday, January 19, 9:30 a.m. at the District Support Center, 2707 Southside Drive. For more information, contact Human Resources Manager Esperanza Flores at 325-643-5644, or email: [email protected].
