SAN ANGELO – Coming off a third-place effort at the Dublin tournament over the weekend, the Brownwood Lions increased their season-best win streak to four games with a 91-51 road victory over San Angelo Lake View Tuesday night.
The Lions (6-3) led 21-8 after one quarter, 53-20 at halftime, and carried a 70-36 advantage into the fourth period.
Luke Moss paced Brownwood with 27 points followed by Bryson Monroe with 24, Jakob Hataway with 11, Tristan Salinas with nine, Christian Kinzler and Seth Oines with eight apiece, and Ike Hall and Weston Burns with two points each.
Lake View (6-4) received 19 points from Tony Cabrera – all in the second half – eight from Devyn Paz, six from Juan Perez and five from Carlos Robledo.
The Lions are back in action Thursday through Saturday as they take part in the Ballinger tournament.
