DUBLIN – The Brownwood Lions collected their second straight victory at the Dublin basketball tournament Friday night, pummeling Hamilton by a 70-34 count.
The Lions (4-3) jumped out to a 18-10 lead after one quarter, which grew to 43-17 at halftime and stood at 54-23 through three frames.
Bryson Monroe paced Brownwood’s attack with 18 points followed by Luke Moss with 17, Jakob Hataway with 14, Christian Kinzler with 11, Tristan Salinas with four, Ike Hall with three and Weston Burns with one point.
The Lions will conclude Dublin tournament action at 5 p.m. Saturday as they will take on Early in the third-place game.
