There are still opportunities to view the works of David E. Harmon, professor of art and chair of the Department of Art at Howard Payne University. The exhibit will be open through December 5, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the university’s Doakie Day Art Center.
Harmon joined the HPU faculty in August 2012. He hails from St. Louis, Mo., and is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He is well-traveled and well-rounded in his areas of artistry and has taught for more than thirty years. Harmon’s work has been featured in exhibitions around the world and includes many different styles such as hard-edged abstraction, figurative realism and expressionism.
