James Bryan McGlothlin, age 75, of Brownwood passed away Tuesday evening at Hendrick Medical Center, Brownwood.
Memorial services will be held at 11 Saturday, September 4, in the Davis-Morris Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, Brownwood.
He was born February 9, 1946 in Dublin, Texas the son of James Kyle and Faye (Ethridge) McGlothlin. He served in the U. S. Army and was married to Kitty Pierce. He worked most of his life as a machinist and a mechanic and had lived in the area for the past 40 years. He loved fishing, working on model cars, and working as a mechanic.
He is survived by two daughters, Christy Montelongo of Sargent, Texas and Tina Fuentes and husband Ruben of Bay City, Texas, a sister, Jonnie Turley of Dublin, a son-in-law, Marty Sanchez of Brownwood, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kitty McGlothlin, his parents, a sister, Jewell Haney and a brother, Jimmy D. McGlothlin.
Services are entrusted to the care of Heritage Funeral Home. Davis-Morris Chapel, Brownwood.
