Christopher “Sweetheart” Louviere
Christopher “Sweetheart” Louviere, age 50, of Bangs passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at home surrounded in love.
Graveside Services for Chris will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Bangs Cemetery. There will be a reception following the graveside service at J-R’s Social Club (5995 Hwy 84 W, Brownwood, Texas 76801) to celebrate Chris’ life. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Chris was born on May 4, 1971, to Melanie Stegall and Allen Louviere in Opelousas, Louisiana. He grew up in Louisiana and moved to Texas during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
His work as in insurance adjuster, as well as his love for poker allowed him to meet his best friend, Eric Bishop. The two of them traveled playing in poker tournaments all around and insurance adjusting. He was the winner of the 2014 World Series of Poker circuit tournament.
In 2009, he met his wife, Rhonda Trobaugh Louviere, and they married on February 14, 2013. The two adopted their grandson, Jaydon, on November 17, 2017. Chris was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a very genuine person. Chris was a man of honesty, full of integrity, truthfulness, and a servant of the Lord.
Chris is survived by his wife, Rhonda Louviere of Bangs; son, Jaydon Maldonado of Bangs; daughter, Jaime Louviere of LA; mother, Melanie Stegall of LA; father, Allen Louviere and wife JoAnn of Tyler; sisters, Janie Louviere Villaras of LA, and Lisa Louviere; uncle, Rene Chehardy of Granbury; best friend, Eric Bishop of Bangs, TX; Step-children: Alex Valles and husband Joan of VA, Ashley Perkins and husband Curtis of Bangs, Roy Maldonado Jr and wife Rosanne of Brownwood, Ricardo Maldonado of Abilene; and grandchildren, Isaiah Serrato, Aniyah Valles, Aubrey Hubbard, Ian Hubbard, Tayte Maldonado, Mahli Maldonado, Christian Valles, Nova Maldonado, Adalina Maldonado. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Eryian Vaughan Maldonado; and numerous brothers-in-law.
