The Woofstock Street Dance to benefit the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center will take place beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 on Anderson Street. The rock and roll street dance will be hosted by Spa de la Terre & Brownwood Nutrition with music by The Remedy.
A homemade ice cream contest will also take place along with a rock and roll costume contest. Pioneer Tap House, 10 Mile, Stone Grove, CJ’s Cigar Lounge, a food truck, and several local artisans and retail vendors will be on hand.
Tickets are $15 each or $25 per couple, kids under 8 are free.
“We look really forward to seeing everyone,” said Travis Curry, Vice President of the Corinne T. Smith Board of Directors. “We have been working as a collaborative group, boards members, concerned citizens, etc. and we have put differences aside to raise money for the Animals of Brown County which is what it is all about.”
