Brown County Sheriff’s Report – July 23

  • On Wednesday, July 21, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to an address on County Road 291. This was in regard to animal cruelty. Contact was made with the owner of the horse. Pictures were taken and options were provided. A report has been made.
  • On Thursday, July 22, Deputy Toby Mathis, conducted a traffic stop in the block of Hwy 279. This was on a vehicle with a defective headlight. The driver was arrested for active warrants. During an inventory of the vehicle a methamphetamine pipe with residue was located. After a probable cause search of the vehicle a 2nd methamphetamine pipe with residue, along with a glass bong, was located. A blue cylinder was found which contained a dark colored liquid, which field test positive for methamphetamine. The liquid was weighed at 55.5grams. The driver was charged with possession of controlled substance PG1 4g<200g.
  • On Thursday, July 22, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was given a walk-in for a criminal trespass warning. The complainant requested criminal trespass warning for a subject who was arrested for deadly conduct on July 20. The warning was signed by both parties and a report has been made.
  • On Thursday, July 22, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was notified of a walk-in referencing to a bank needing to file charges against a subject for Hindering Secured Creditor. The suspect was contacted and spoken to about the situation. A report has been made.
