- On Friday, July 9 at about 7:13 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Ave C in Brownwood. This was in regards to an animal complaint. Langley spoke with a victim who stated his neighbor’s dogs had come to his residence and attacked one of his white piglets.
- On Friday, July 9 at around 5:54 p.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover called a complainant. This was in regards to harassment on Facebook Messenger. A report was made.
- On Saturday, July 10 at approximately 12:39 p.m. Deputy Scotty Burke spoke with a complainant at the ER. This was in reference to a possible sexual assault.
- On Saturday, July 10 Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a welfare check in the 19000 block of US 183. Dispatch advised a male subject was asleep in his vehicle. Upon arrival, Thomas observed a blue Chevrolet pickup in the 19000 block of US 183. The vehicle was parked in the roadway and a male subject was asleep in the driver’s seat. After further investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated w/Open Container. A report was made.
- On Saturday, July 10 at around 4:39 p.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived at Lovers Lane. This was in reference to a theft, which occurred on the property. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Saturday, July 10 Deputy Chris Angel responded to U.S. Highway 377 South. This was in reference to a burglary. Angel made contact with the victim who stated a subject had broken into their house through a bathroom window. After persons inside the residence woke up and saw the subject, the subject ran and exited through the window in the bathroom.
- On Sunday, July 11 Deputy Chris Angel, was dispatched to Pawnee Drive. This was in reference to an intoxicated male subject passed out in the roadway. Angel located the male and identified him. After further investigation, the male was found to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication.
- On Sunday, July 11 at about 3:32 p.m. Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at Glen Oaks Dr in Brownwood. This was in regards to a burglary. Langley spoke to the victim, who stated he believes three suspects broke into his storage building, and took some scrap metal from the side of the residence.
- On Sunday, July 11 Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of Criminal Trespassing. The complainant advised three subjects were observed on Harbor Point property after being previously served a Criminal Trespass Warning. A report was made.
- On Monday, July 12 Deputy Andre Smoot completed a walk-in call referencing criminal mischief. A backpack, which was found at the scene, was also brought in and contained marijuana inside. Pertinent information was gathered, and a report was completed.
- On Monday, July 12 Deputy Andre Smoot spoke with complainant referencing theft of camper. Smoot gathered pertinent information from complainant and discovered the camper may have been burglarized. Complainant wishes to start an initial report for investigation.
- On Monday, July 12 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to West US 67. This was for a report of an elderly couple having a verbal argument. The female subject was very uncooperative when speaking about what had occurred. The parties were separated, and a report was made.
