Shaw’s Marketplace has announced a new restaurant will be part of the new venture in downtown Brownwood, located at 508 N. Center Avenue.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is slated to open in the Spring of 2022, according to Matt McCrane with Shaw’s Marketplace. McCrane’s NFL career, along with additional renovations that are required at the Shaw’s Marketplace location, will delay the opening until next year.

“Megan and I are excited to bring a familiar franchise to downtown Brownwood in Shaw’s Marketplace,” McCrane said. “Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is appearing in many locations nationwide. With their Baja tacos, shredded chicken nachos, chips & guac, and frozen margaritas, it will add a unique flare to our community.”

Fuzzy’s will be owned and operated locally by Matt and Megan McCrane and will showcase Matt’s NFL memorabilia in the bar area and throughout the restaurant.

Additional Shaw’s Marketplace vendors are expected to be announced soon.

“Shaw’s Marketplace will be more than just a shopping destination, we want it to be a complete family experience – food, entertainment, and local vendors,” McCrane said.
