Doris Alene Collom Lewis

Doris Alene Collom Lewis of Bangs was called home on Friday, April 16, 2021.  She was born in Stonewall County  on October 2, 1930 to the parents of Jordon and Emma Collom.  She was married to Arvin W Lewis and they residing in Brown County for 50 + years.

Her survivors include her daughter, Linda of Bangs, a brother Dan and wife Billie Collom of Rotan, sister in law Linda Collom of Clyde, step daughter Billie Ann and husband Donnie Crye of Gousbusk, two step grandsons Wesley Crye of Gousbusk and Cory and wife Michelle of Fort Worth, three step great granddaughters.  Three brother in laws Ronald and wife Clive Cage of Goldthwaite, Ronald and wife Charolle Cagle of Goldthwaite and Clois and wife Hilda Cagle of Golthwaite, one sister in law Kathleen Wilcoxen of Lake Brownwood.   Several nieces, nephews and cousins.    In her circle of family were:  Lynn Newton of Bangs, Evan Newton of Early and LeeJayne Neston of Brownwood.

She was in proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers Claude, Thomas and Martin.  Three sisters Inez, Billie and Ann, and the son she never had Paul Newton.

She was a Christian and God Loving Woman.  She always said, ask God for help and he will provide.  She was kind to everyone.  A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
