The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Monday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith:
- Forrist Lee Pierce pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Jessica Walton, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Walton, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Division.
- Zoe Dawn Thomas, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Thomas pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
- Robert William Phillips Jr., on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Joshua Hamlett, on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
