Brenda Lou Ford, age 78 of Bangs, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, March 24th at Heartland Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 12 pm.
Brenda was born on Wednesday, January 20, 1943 in Llano, Texas to Clayton and Bessie Smith. Brenda was blessed with 4 children, Roger “Scooter”, Edwin “Eddie”, Scottie and James “JB”. She enjoyed her time reading, watching tennis, tending to her plants and caring for her cats. She loved to also sip her hot tea. But most of all she loved spending time her family.
Brenda is survived by her sons, Edwin “Eddie” Liesmann and wife Donna; James “JB” Ford and wife Jennifer; daughter Scottie Miller; 9 grandchildren, Brandy Luna and husband Tony, Laci Cherry, Paige Sanders and husband Jordan, Lindey Clark and husband Chris, Ashley Etienne, John Liesmann, Ethan Ford, Makenzie Ford and Hunter Ford; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Smith and Bessie Treadwell Smith; son Roger “Scooter” Liesmann; 2 sisters, Betty Embrey and Connie Blisard; and brother Robert “Bob” Smith.
