- On Thursday, March 11 at 1:54 p.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived to Temple Ave. in Brownwood. This was in reference to theft. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Thursday, March 11, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to an address on Hwy 279. This was in regard to trespassing. The caller requested Criminal Trespass Warning to be issued to multiple subjects. A report has been made.
- On Thursday, March 11 at 8:27 p.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived to Hendrick Medical Center-Brownwood. This was in reference to a dog bite, which occurred in the county. After further investigation, the dog’s owner was arrested for two outstanding warrants. A report was made.
- On Thursday, March 11, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to an address on CR 604. This was in regards to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the male subject had already left scene. No physical violence was claimed, but a computer was damaged that belonged to the female’s work. A report has been made.
- On Thursday, March 11, 2021, Lt. Pete Bastardo spoke with an individual in regard to Identity Theft. There are no suspects to list, and a report was taken.
- On Friday, March 12, Deputy Andre Smoot, contacted the complainant referencing a lost wallet. Smoot gathered pertinent information and completed an information report.
- On Saturday, March 13, Sgt. Taylor Fletcher, performed a traffic stop on a white Chevy Suburban for speeding on Hwy 183 in May. Fletcher discovered the driver was in possession of 2 fictitious driver’s licenses, 0.6 grams of Adderall tablets, and a handgun. The driver was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance, Unlawful Carrying Weapon, and Possession of Fictitious Driver’s License.
- On the evening of Sunday, March 14, Sgt. Taylor Fletcher responded to a reckless driver call. This was on a blue Chevy pickup speeding on Highway 67, with a female riding in the bed of the truck. After stopping the truck, Fletcher identified the driver. Fletcher observed a glass methamphetamine pipe under the center console, in plain sight, and found additional 0.2 grams of methamphetamine in the driver’s pocket. The passenger was found a short time later. The passenger’s belongings contained broken glass pipes, containers with meth residue, as well as 2 Hydrocodone tablets weighing 0.8 grams. Both the driver and passenger were charged with POCS PG1 <1 Gram. The passenger was additionally charged with POCS PG3 <28 Grams and Poss. Drug Paraphernalia.
- On Sunday, March 14 at approximately 6:59 p.m., Deputy Nicolas A. Wood was approached by an individual who had concerns about a registered sex offender, who she stated was living on her property and wanted to know what needs to be done. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Monday, March 15 at approximately 12:26 p.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover was informed a wanted person would be a passenger in a red 4 door Mercedes traveling northbound on County Road 234. After observing the vehicle with the wanted person inside, Deputy Gover employed his emergency lights and siren. The vehicle stopped once, but then finally stopped at the intersection of Brady Avenue and County Road 234. The wanted person was arrested for his blue warrant, Possession of a Substances PG1 1G<4G, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Marijuana <2OZ. The driver was arrested for Possession of Substances <1G, Possession of Marijuana <2OZ, Hindering Apprehension, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Resisting Arrest, and Evading Arrest. The passenger was arrested for Possession of a Substances PG1 <1G and Failure to ID. The three suspects were transported to the Brown County Jail. The vehicle was towed, and a report was made.
