On Thursday, Jan. 28, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 35 positive COVID-19 test results, 114 negative, and 28 recoveries. Of the 35 positives, 15 were PCR, and 20 were antigen. There are currently 15 hospitalized in Brown County. Two deaths were reported: two males in their 80’s, neither were a resident of a nursing facility.

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 1,101 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 500 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 25th-29th in Brownwood from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
