More than 1,500 people in Bangs have been without power since shortly before 8 a.m. this morning following an accident in which a car collided with a pole at Pecan and 6th.
According to the ONCOR Electricity Outage Map, equipment failure was cited as the cause affecting 323 customers. Estimated restoration of electricity is 5:30 p.m., according to the ONCOR site.
