While many holiday events has been canceled due to COVID-19, the City of Bangs will hold its annual Christmas parade this year.
Monday night it was announced that the Bangs Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Bangs MDD, are sponsoring the Bangs Christmas Parade at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.
If you would like to take part, lineup will be at 6 p.m. on Gantt St. The route will be the same as in years past. The parade will head down Fitzgerald, turn on First Street, head down Kyle and finish at the park. Due to COVID, there will be no activities at the park. Due to so many events being canceled this year, organizers wanted to have an event to bring joy during this time. Everyone is invited to take part and help us end 2020 on a positive note.
