Brown County Sheriff’s Report – Nov. 16

On Tuesday, Nov. 10 at approximately 3:47 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to  Hwy 183 North in May. This was in reference to a mailbox being struck by an unknown vehicle.

On Friday, Nov. 13 at approximately 9:35 a.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to CR 281, Zephyr. This was in reference to a criminal mischief report and investigation.

On Friday, Nov. 13 at about 9:16 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at CR 132 in Brownwood. This was in regards to a burglary. Langley spoke to a victim who stated someone had broken the glass out of the back door to his residence and made entry into the residence without his consent. The victim stated he was missing several items from the residence.

On Friday, Nov. 13 at approximately 11:14 p.m. at the location of Choctaw Drive in May, a complainant notified law enforcement. This was on her son for breaking into her room and stealing a firearm. After arriving on scene, deputies spoke to the complainant, took photographs of the damage, and collected information on the stolen firearm.  A report was made.

On Saturday, Nov. 14 at about 11:47 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Boyett Dr. in Brownwood. This was in regards to a theft. Langley spoke to a witness who stated he was doing work for a victim on this residence, and someone took tools from the residence without consent.

On Saturday, Nov. 14 at approximately 12:07, Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to the Heartland Church Parking lot, Hwy 279,. This was in reference to the theft of some money from a vehicle.

On Saturday, Nov. 14, at approximately 2:58 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke #124, was dispatched to the 2000 block of Deepwater Rd. This was in reference to a vehicle (motorcycle) accident.

On Saturday, Nov. 14 at about 3:50 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at CR 183 in Bangs. This was in regards to a domestic disturbance. Langley spoke to the victim who stated her and her husband had gotten into a verbal argument. The victim stated the argument was verbal, but her husband had pushed her down last night after a verbal argument.
