MAY – The Class A No. 17 May Lady Tigers improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 64-19 thrashing of Rochelle Tuesday night.

Roberta Robinette led May with 13 points followed by Reese Chambers with 12, Melanie Murphree with 11, Brianna Steele and Sophie Lord with seven points each, Lexi Fox with six, Hannah McKenzie with four, and Korlei King and Charity Baker with two points each.

The Lady Tigers – who defeated Woodson, 79-27, in their season opener Saturday – will next face Goldthwaite in May Tuesday, Nov. 17

Blanket 39, Lohn 22

BLANKET – The Blanket Lady Tigers earned their second win in as many outings with a 39-22 triumph over Lohn Tuesday night.

Jacy Stovall and Mirian Marquez each poured in 14 points for Blanket – which has just five players on the roster – trailed by seven from Mariella Menchaca and two points apiece from Penny Pedraza and Amada Menchaca.

The Lady Tigers – who picked up a forfeit win over Rising Star due to COVID in their season opener Saturday – will next host Morgan at 11 a.m. Saturday.
