The City of Brownwood will be dedicating the pavilion at Mayes Park, near East Elementary, as the “Nanda Wilbourn Family Pavilion” on Thursday, October 29th, at 3:45 p.m. The community is invited to attend.
Nanda Wilbourn was a principal at East Elementary for several years. She was a beloved member of the community. Nanda passed away in 2019. Members of Nanda’s family are expected to speak at the dedication ceremony along with Brownwood Mayor Stephen Haynes.
