The BHS Lionettes participated in American Dance Drill Team Camp at SMU on June 29-July 1, earning several top honors.

The team won several awards including Super Sweepstakes and Gussie Nell Davis Team of the Week.

Three Lionettes were chosen as All American, Honorable Mention dancers: Ember Threet, Destiny Muenzler, and Sharon Berger.   These young ladies have the opportunity to participate in a halftime performance at SMU in November, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Capital One Bowl on New Year’s Day.,

Ember Threet was also chosen as Outstanding Dancer. Only 6 dancers from the entire camp were chosen for this honor.

These Lionettes will be conducting several fundraisers in the future to raise the money necessary for these trips.
