The Lake Patrol at Lake Brownwood has a new chief after a vote Tuesday night by the Brown County Water Improvement District #1 board of directors.
Lake Patrol officer Troy Henderson was promoted to the position of Senior Lake Patrolman. Henderson has been with the Lake Patrol for over 4 years and had been commended on several occasions, according to BCWID officials.
The BCWID Law Enforcement Agency, the Lake Patrol, consists of two commissioned officers who are charged with the duties of enforcing the Rules and Regulations of the District, on lands, waters, and easements owned and controlled by the District as well as enforcing the laws of the State of Texas. Special attention is given to the enforcement of the Texas Water Safety Act and to Pollution control within the 1500 square miles of the District’s watershed.
