Mario Licea, a truck drive r from Comanche, drove through hurricane ravaged Lake Charles, Louisiana a few days ago and stopped to talk with residents who were in need in the aftermath.
Licea has since organized drop-off points in Brownwood, Comanche and Hamilton for those who would like to contribute to the Louisiana natives affect most by Hurricane Laura. Donations can be made at Allsup’s in Comanche Friday through Sunday. In Brownwood, Beau Bostick is assisting Licea and a trailer will be parked at Stanley Dodge throughout the weekend.
Licea plans to deliver the items collected to the highly-impacted areas of Lake Charles on Monday afternoon.
