Lee Ann Brooks, 52

Lee Ann Brooks, age 52, of Coleman, died Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Coleman County Medical Center.

A family viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m.  to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

She was born Lee Ann McDonald on September 16, 1967 in Coleman to Newton Carl McDonald and Margaret Jane Andrews McDonald.  She grew up in Coleman where she attended school.  Lee Ann married Rex Dewayne Brooks on November 2, 1990 in Coleman.  Lee Ann loved drinking coffee, cooking for her family, decorating her house, and taking care of her grandkids.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Lee Ann is reunited in heaven with her parents, and her husband Rex Brooks.

She is survived by her children, Zackary McDonald of Abilene and Lauren Nikol Brooks and fiancée Dylan Shubin of Coleman; her grandchildren, Gavyn McDonald, Bronson Brooks, Kyle McDonald, Bentlee Brooks, Azelynn McDonald, Wyatt Shubin, and one on the way, Cash Shubin; her brother, Gary McDonald and wife Lorie of Abilene; her sisters, Anita Monroe of Ballinger, and Vicki Hale and husband Joe of Coleman; her sisters in law, Linda Kincaid of Brownwood, Alice Sanchez and husband Victor of Waco, Carolyn Sanchez and husband Robert of Waco, Peggy Graham and husband Red of Coleman, Christine Little of Abernathy, and Sarah Villalpando and husband Bobby of Brownwood.
