A graveside funeral service for Janette Richardson, age 70, of Brownwood, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in the Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.  Visitation was held at the funeral home on Monday evening.

Janette passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at her home.

Janette was born on May 22, 1943 in Pilot Point to Rev. A. F. and Gertrude (Truelove) McGuffey.  She married Alton Richardson on October 24, 1993 in Brownwood.  She was a member of New Beginnings Church.

It is with extreme sorrow that we honor our loving wife and mother.  She leaves behind her loving husband Alton of Brownwood, her three sons, Richard Tull, Charles Kendrick, and Tommie James Richardson; her three daughters, Cheryl Kendrick, Sherry Lynn Richardson, and Tanya Richardson; 20 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Kendrick, a brother Jerry McGuffey, and her parents.
