BastardoGustavoFuneral Services for Gustavo G. Bastardo, age 59, of Brownwood will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood with Father Frances officiating. Interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening with a rosary held at 7:00 p.m. March 13, 2012, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.

Gustavo passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday March 10, 2012 in Brownwood. He was born on March 15, 1952, in Brownwood to Fred Sr. and Frances (Gutierrez) Bastardo. Gustavo enjoyed being around his family and friends and loved listening to music.

 

Survivors include 3 sisters, Ediala Torres and husband Abraham of Wichita Falls, TX, Josie Graves and husband Don of Wichita Falls, TX, Viola Marquez of Brownsville, TX; 4 brothers, Rudy Bastardo Sr. of Brownwood, Victor Bastardo Sr. and wife Rita of Brownwood, Pete Bastardo Sr. and wife Alice of Brownwood, and Ernest Bastardo of Brownwood; several nieces and nephews; 1 great niece, Mariela Rodriguez, and numerous cousins.

Gustavo is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Frances Bastardo, and a brother, Fred Jr. Condolences may be left for the family at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
