
May Tigers 10, Gorman 0
MAY – The District 7-1A baseball champion May Tigers completed an undefeated league run with a 10-0 home victory over Gorman Friday.
May (11-0-1) received a two-hit shutout from Lane Goodson, Kobey Morris and Ben Harrell, who combined to strike out eight and walk three.
Offensively, May scored one run in the bottom of the first inning, five in the second and four more in the fifth.
The six-hit attack included two from Goodson, who doubled and drove in a pair; two from Hunter Seider, who picked up an RBI; a double from Maddix Raffel, who added an RBI; and a single from Kaden Watkins, who also plated a runner. Brody Stice chipped in an RBI as well, as the Tigers drew 12 walks and took advantage of three Gorman errors.
The Tigers will open playoff action at 4 p.m. Monday in Eula against Jayton, where the first two games in a Class 1A Region I best-of-three bi-district series will take place.

Cisco 3, Bangs Dragons 1
CISCO – The Bangs Dragons suffered a 3-1 road loss to the Cisco Loboes in Friday’s District 7-2A baseball and regular season finale.
Bangs (16-8, 5-5) yielded single runs in the first and second innings, closed the gap to 2-1 in the top of the fourth, but gave up the game’s final run in the bottom half of the frame.
The Dragons finished with eight hits – two each by Skylar Minshew and Kaleb Biggs and one apiece by Hunter Crowell, Jaxon Duncan, Everett Kirchner and Jackson Edmisten. Rex Guerrero recorded the RBI.
On the mound for Bangs, Duncan, Minshew and Kason Klutts combined to allow two earned runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and five walks. The Dragon defense committed just one error behind them.

Peaster 13, Early Longhorns 1
EARLY – The Early Longhorns’ baseball season came to an end with a 13-1 home loss to the Peaster Greyhounds Friday.
Early (6-17, 4-10) gave up six runs each in the first and second innings and scored its only run in the home half of the first.
The Longhorns mustered just one hit by Ben Wilson, and drew five walks.
On the mound, Skyden Stoddart, Brennan Rasor and Chris Ivy allowed six earned runs on 10 hits with three strikeouts and seven walks. The Early defense committed five errors behind them.
