Patricia Cox passed away April 22, 2025, in Brownwood, Texas. She was born to Robert Boyer and Baxtine Bonnett on September 13, 1937, in East Chicago, Indiana.

A visitation will take place Monday, April 28 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 29 at 1 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood, Texas. The family will have a private interment.

Patricia Cox, a beloved long-time resident of Brownwood, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Patricia dedicated many years of her life to the healthcare industry, where her compassion and steady presence touched countless lives.

Outside of her career, Patricia found joy in the simple, beautiful things. She took great pride in her yard, where she spent countless hours tending to her flowers and plants, creating a peaceful haven for family and friends. An accomplished artist, Patricia’s creativity was evident in her artwork, which reflected the warmth and grace she carried in life. She was also a passionate and avid bowler, cherishing the friendships and memories made at the lanes.

Patricia’s greatest love was her family. She is survived by her daughters: Doni Stills of Brownwood; Darla Harbour and husband Jay of New Mexico; Patty Stark and husband Mike of San Diego, California; and Wendy Kent and husband Jeff of Idaho. She leaves behind 11 cherished grandchildren and 4 precious great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward with love and pride.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenny Cox, and two daughters, Diana Helton and Dena Davison, whom she now rejoins in eternal peace.

Patricia’s legacy is one of kindness, creativity, and quiet strength — qualities that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
